If you are struggling to run the game at a higher resolution, the 'render resolution' option is useful. Problems may also be caused by your PC not meeting the minimum requirements of the game. Turning off anti-aliasing, triple buffering and vsync can give a large performance boost too. First ensure you are running the latest NVIDIA or AMD Drivers for your graphics card, or try a clean graphics driver install. MW2 Remastered Stutter and FPS drops can be solved a number of ways.
There is, unfortunately, no Modern Warfare 2 Remastered Multiplayer - this remaster is single player campaign only, and there are no plans for a multiplayer remaster. There is no MW2 Remastered Steamrelease however, the game is only available through the launcher.
The PC version of Modern Warfare 2 remastered includes 4K support, uncapped framerate and ultrawide monitor support. However, the developers recommend a CPU greater or equal to an Intel Core i5-2500K.
To play MW2 remastered you will need a minimum CPU equivalent to an AMD FX-6300 Six-Core. Furthermore, an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970 or better is recommended for the best experience. The minimum graphics card you can play it on is an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 670. Infinity Ward recommend a minimum of 8 GB of RAM, but if possible, have 12 GB in order to run Modern Warfare 2 Remastered to its full potential. The Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 Remastered system requirements ask for 80 GB free storage space to install the game.
